Waterloo Eye Centre takes eyewear to the Tour de France, Lourdes.

July 27, 2018

When we saved the day for our patient, Dave, last week after he’d left sunglass shopping to the final hour, we never imagined he’d be sporting them at the Tour de France!

Managing to source his favourite Rayban Wayfarer style with minutes to spare before he set off on his 30 hour journey to Lourdes, we never imagined he’d be hanging out with this years riders!

Had we known, we’d have sent him with a few of our sports styles from the Oakley and Maui Jim collections we are currently showcasing for any athletes needing eyewear assistance!

Fortunately, when Dave stopped to chat to Stuart O’Grady, retired Australian professional road racer and 2007 Paris-Roubaix stage winner, he’d turned up well equipped with his own Oakley cycling shades!

O’Grady wears the Oakley Radar to enhance his vision while riding. Oakley’s PRIZM technology fine tunes vision for specific sports and environments making them the perfect choice for anyone serious about sport.

We are very lucky to be showcasing the full collections of both Oakley and fellow sports eyewear brand Maui Jim, Friday 27th July and Saturday 28th July at our pop up shop. We don’t think there’s ever been so many sporting accessories in L22!

If you, or anyone you know are looking to try out some new eyewear for your active lifestyle, or you just want to see what all the fuss is about, pop down to South Road to see us today or tomorrow and take a look!

...did we mention there’s discounts?!😉

We hope Dave enjoys the rest of his trip to Lourdes and now take full credit for any of O’Grady’s successes this tour!😂😂
